Charles Dickens is noted to having said, "It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold; when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade."

That's what it felt like here in Central Wisconsin this past week. Beautifully sunshine-y but snow still piled high in the shade of buildings and trees. The browns of late winter are melting away to pops of green showing up all over. It's one of my favorite times of year.

It also means that it's almost Award's Season. What is Award's Season? It's what we call the time of year in the LGP National Office that orders for end-of-year awards start pouring in! Now, this year most certainly won't be as busy as years' past (thanks, COVID!), but we do anticipate some orders. If you are placing an order on the website for jewelry and other supplies, make a note when you need it by so that your order doesn't arrive two days after your award's ceremony!

Also, mark your calendars for upcoming Pine Car Derby! Get those cars ready to go and sent to the National Office by April 10. The virtual derby will be posted on our YouTube channel on April 24-- subscribe and never miss out on new videos!

Speaking of new videos, head over to the YouTube channel right now and check two new videos that you can share with others who wonder what Pioneers is all about! And be on the look-out for teaching and help videos coming soon!

One last thing... our matching grant fundraiser ends Easter Sunday, April 4. We are a little over a third of the way there! Thank you to everyone who has donated already- we appreciate it so  much! If you are so moved, please prayerfully consider donating! The LGP ministry needs all of us right now and if you're able to donate, your gift will benefit so many girls! You can mail a gift to LGP, W10376 Buttercup Ln, Wautoma, WI 54982 or you can donate online here on our website; visit the Donate Online page found under "About Us."

I pray you are all doing well. Please reach out if there is anything I can do for you, your caravan, or your district!

Loyal to Christ, Christine
